Ice Dogs Cup - U8 Tournament Results
Congratulations to the Lake Simcoe Ghost Pirates who won the U8 ICE DOGS CUP "5-on-5" tournament in Gravenhurst.  The Ghost Pirates held on to take a close 3-2 victory over the Purple Cobras.  The U8 event was held January 24 featuring 4 teams & 46 players born in 2017-2018.

The Ghost Pirates went a perfect 4-0-0 on the day including winning a narrow 3-2 final game against the Purple Cobras to take the U8 Ice Dogs Cup.  Ghost Pirates team members include: Merrick Dykstra, Brody Naughton, Jack Jermey, Denver Pilger, Wolf Fearman, Griffin Brittle, Max Thornhill, Brayden Daurio, Landon Gini, Griffin Jacobs, Jack Riley, Eli Dunlevy, G - Ziva Morden.

Ghost Pirates Jack Riley was the tournament MVP.  Jack lead all scorers in the tournament with 9 points (8G, 1A) over four games.  Congrats Jack!

Purple Cobras team members include: Owen Knight, Stephen Stajcer, Knox Bryne, Gabriel Cornelio, Declan Cole, Finn Ramirez, Easton Roach, Ben Hayes, Royce McKenzie, Jack Lapp, G - Liam Cole.

CONSOLATION FINAL: ICE DOGS (Black) defeated ICE DOGS (Red) in the tournament Consolation Final.

Consolation MVP for Ice Dogs Black was Levi Morrison.  Levi had a great day scoring 5 goals including a hat trick in the final.
