Ice Dogs Support Muskoka Bears New Franchise
Ice Dogs Hockey is thrilled to announce our new sponsorship and partnership with the Muskoka Bears Junior C Hockey Club.
As many of our tournament players move up to the junior ranks and a significant number of our registered players hail from minor hockey programs in Muskoka, we are excited to support this new franchise.
With many player signings already taking place we can confirm as many as 8 previous Ice Dogs tourney players have already signed on with the Bears and we look forward to seeing them hit the ice for their inaugural season.
We look forward to a successful and long-lasting partnership ahead. Go Bears Go!!
MORE ON THE MUSKOKA BEARS...
After a 40-year absence, Bracebridge is set to welcome back junior C hockey with open arms as the Muskoka Bears have been awarded a franchise by the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL). Starting in September 2024, the Bears will hit the ice at the newly constructed Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, ready to compete against PJHL teams in a modern and inviting venue.
Built on a foundation of community spirit and athletic excellence, the Muskoka Bears Junior C hockey club aims to foster young talent and provide aspiring players with a platform to showcase their skills. Exciting matchups and memorable moments await fans as the Bears embark on their inaugural season.
Whether fans are cheering in person or following online, Bracebridge is buzzing with anticipation for what the Bears will bring to Muskoka's rich hockey tradition. More than just a team, the Bears embody local pride and a commitment to developing both on-ice skills and off-ice character.
With a dedicated coaching staff and strong support from the community, the Bears are focused on creating a nurturing environment where players can thrive, learn, and compete at the Junior C level. As they prepare to hit the ice, the Muskoka Bears Junior C hockey club is poised to make a significant impact on Bracebridge and beyond.
