The U14 Orillia Ice Dogs made up of players born in 2007 claimed this weekends King of the Rings title in North York.

Team Members include: Goalie Aaron Wilson (#1), Mason Taylor-Wood (#4), Zach Raaphorst (#6), Tanner Thayer (#10), Jackson Hawrelak (#18), Ryan Warwick (#19), Reece Cordeiro (#55), Ryder Bjaanes (#88) and Matthew Landriault (#91).  Coach is Scott Bjaanes.

The team went 4-1 for the weekend with a 7-2 victory over Summer Heat in the semi-final to advance to the final.  In the Championship game the Ice Dogs would score 6 unanswered goals to start the game and cruise to a 9-4 victory over Simcoe County.

The King of the Rings tournament is one of the summers most prestigious tournaments in which the players win championship rings for winning the tourney.

Congrats to the team on a fantastic weekend of hockey!
